Half way through the 1700s, some madcap Irish horsemen pitted their ‘hunters’ against each other in a wild race from one church to another, across country, leaping over fences, hedges and ditches – anything that got in the way! The great rural sport now known as Point-to-Point was born. It quickly spread to England and is now an established feature of the country calendar. On Saturday May 13, Peper Harow hosts the latest round of thrilling Point-to-Point action and you could be there, as we have four pairs of tickets to give away.
